Filing Cabinet, Check

I love my husband. I can’t say this enough times, nor word it strongly enough to make anyone else fully understand just how much I love and appreciate my husband for everything he does.

I had to work late at school tonight because our newspaper was due today. I had students in my classroom working on it until about 7:30.  Then I was there another hour finishing things up and getting ready for the next day. This entire week is busy for me because of meetings, appointments, and my observation on Thursday. So I do not have a lot of time for working on baby stuff.

What I really wanted to do after school today was go home and take a nap.  Of course that didn’t happen. Coinicidently, that is also what my husband wanted to do. Only instead of doing that (and I wouldn’t have blamed him one bit if he had) he went to Staples, bought a four-drawer filing cabinet to replace our sorry two-drawer plastic one, rented a truck so he could drive it home, loaded it into the office. Then went back to return the truck, came home, and loaded everything from the old cabinet into the new one. I now have two large empty drawers in which to put all of the random paperwork I was complaining about in my last entry. And one of the many, many things on our to do list is now checked off.

It’s 10:17, and I need to go to bed. I have to get up early tomorrow (and early means before 4 a.m. 😦  ) to finish stuff for school. But I can’t be too cranky when I get to live with someone who is so good to me.

About Twins Happen

My husband and I learned that we were having twins in October of 2010. I started this blog so that family and friends could follow my pregnancy and the development of our children. I'm continuing to post about my girls, parenting, and trying to balance work, family time, and fitness.
